<p>The COLING 2008 paper entitled <em>&#8220;Measuring and Predicting
Orthographic Associations: Modelling the Similarity of Japanese Kanji&#8221;</em>
contains the following errors:</p>

<ul>
  <li>p6-7: Tables 2 and 3 give incorrectly calculated MAP scores for the
  various kanji distance metrics compared. The corrected scores are
  substantially lower, and appear in Tables 4.3 (p86) and 4.5 (p89) of
  <a href="../phd-thesis.pdf">my thesis</a>.</li>
</ul>

<p>My sincere apologies to readers for this error.</p>
