The COLING 2008 paper entitled “Measuring and Predicting
Orthographic Associations: Modelling the Similarity of Japanese Kanji”
contains the following errors:
p6-7: Tables 2 and 3 give incorrectly calculated MAP scores for the
various kanji distance metrics compared. The corrected scores are
substantially lower, and appear in Tables 4.3 (p86) and 4.5 (p89) of
my thesis.
